Howdy! My name is Marisa and my husband is Mariner. Together we are M&M. We have been married for 8 years and live in Texas. It took us nearly 7 years of infertility, nearly 4 of those years doing IVF to finally get our magical rainbow baby. In order to get her, we did 2 egg retrievals and 8 transfers (one of those was with a surrogate). We had a failed transfer; a miscarriage at 5 weeks, 4 days; a double embryo transfer that ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks, 2 days; a miscarriage at 5 weeks, 4 days; a chemical; another chemical; our surrogate miscarried at 8 weeks but our baby stopped growing at 7 weeks; our last transfer was with me and also a double embryo transfer with the birth of my daughter at 34 weeks. That’s not including all the shots, testing, bloodwork, ultrasounds, biopsies, and tears! As I said our magical rainbow baby was born at 34 weeks due to IUGR. She was only 4lbs, 4ozs when she was born. She spent a couple of weeks in the NICU. Today she’s 1 and you would never guess she was born early other than she’s still tiny! She is absolutely the best baby in the world and lights up any room she is in. We honestly can’t believe we have not only a baby but such an amazing baby. We truly ask ourselves every day how she is ours. Our family dream has always been 2 kids. Infertility and recurring losses definitely shifted that to getting a kid to thinking we may live our lives childless. Thankfully we did get our kid and even though we are old (I’m closing in on 38 and my husband is 39), we have a decent amount of embryos left that we would like to pursue a sibling journey. We know we may only end up with our girl… and that’s more than fine with us. But, as long as we have the embryos… we would like to try to make our ideal family dream a reality. As you can imagine from all we have gone through, we have a quit a bit of IVF and medical debt. We have always found a way to make treatments possible but we definitely appreciate any help we can to ease the financial burden. That’s why we have this fundraiser. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks for learning about us and we hope you’ll help us attempt to make our family dream a reality. 🫶🏻

We are doing our best to make the funds on our own but very much could use the help. Please consider helping us make our girl a big sister. Thanks! 🫶🏻
