My name is Margaret, although I typically go by Maggie. I am 33 years old and looking to make my dream of being a mom a reality through IUI. I grew up in central NY before falling in love with Southern living. Life has certainly been a rollercoaster, but I've found stability and support through friends that I call family. I'm very close with my mother and my siblings. Being "Aunt Maggie" has been one of the most rewarding titles I've ever held, but I've always dreamed of being "Mom", and now I'm determined to make it happen. I look to my mother as my biggest example of what it is to be a mom, and I know that watching her raise three kids alone has set me up for success to do the same. Having no partner has certainly been a set-back, but it's not stopping me from having hope that intra-uterine insemination will work. I have the support of my friends and family, and know that if I am able to have a child, it will be so deeply loved and cared for.
