My name is Iris, my wife Lesley and I have gone through many IUI’s, IVF treatment, 2 embryo transfers. 1 ectopic pregnancy (caused my wife to loose her left Fallopian tube when it ruptured), and 2 miscarriages. We have deployed our savings and even took out a loan for our last IVF. We want to have a baby more than anything, at this point we are considering egg donation, it costs $17k for a pod of 6-8 eggs. We are open to other options as well like embryo donation or adoption. We are currently trying to apply for grants and we found gift of parenthood, a nonprofit who gives out monthly grants that could be of great benefit for us. One of the requirements is to start a fundraiser to help with our costs. We are running out of time, as my wife is 41 yrs old and I’m 43.
