Hello! My name is Heather, I am 30 years old with one child age 10 from a previous marriage. My husband Marco and I have been trying to conceive a child for almost 5 years with no luck. It wasn’t until this year in June that we finally got some answers as to why we haven’t been able to get pregnant. After undergoing an X-Ray procedure called an HSG I was informed that I have a Bilateral obstruction of the salpinges. Both of my Fallopian tubes are clogged at the ovary. I was hoping to be able to undergo a procedure to unclog my Fallopian tubes but I cannot find a doctor to do a procedure. I just keep getting told I need to do IVF. I am happy to do IVF but the cost that comes along with it is hefty and my insurance doesn’t cover much.
