My name is Alma and my husband is Kyle. We’ve been married 5 years and have been through some challenges. We got married in October of 2017, later on in March of 2019 I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer at the age of 26. I was given chemo, radiation, 2 surgeries and then I was finally given the good news. On October 1 , 2019 I was declared cancer free. After taking hormone blockers for 2 years straight I was given the ok to stop to start trying to get pregnant. It hasn’t been an easy journey. I ended up with a septum uterus and had surgery, that pushed our plans back But since cancer I haven’t received a period or even begun to ovulate. We recently had our first cycle of times intercourse, I was given meds to receive a period and ovulate. Our first cycle failed. No pregnancy. We are wanting to try again but this process is not cheap. All we want is the blessing of a child. It wasn’t our time before cancer and now I hope we can one day have this miracle and I’m hoping it’s soon before I have to go back on the meds for another few years.
