Hello, we are the Johnsons; my name is Unique, and Patrick is my husband's name. At the age of 13, I was diagnosed with endometriosis. Endometriosis is a common health issue among women where the tissue grows outside of the uterus, causing heavy periods, severe headaches, and infertility. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for quite some time, with no success. After speaking with several experts and hearing various doctors tell us that we should give up; saying things like "there isn't much hope for us" or "why do you want to have children?", hearing these awful, unpleasant remarks has left me in a sad place and wanting to give up on trying. My husband continues to give me hope that one day it will happen for us. We eventually found a specialist who had been GOD-sent. He is amicable, patient, and understanding of my infertility issue. Now that some of our prayers appear to have been answered, the financial aspect of IVF has now become nearly impossible. One door opened and another was placed on hold. Financially, it has been difficult. As we process the grief of infertility, we look optimistically forward to our future via Embryo Freezing. I was able to conquer this dreadful medical issue because I am strong. Our struggle, however, is far from over. We are asking for your help on this new IVF journey by donating to our fundraiser.
