Hi, my name is Tori. I am 30 years old and I currently have 3 boys under the age of 5. I am fundraising for IVF treatments in order to balance my family. I am extremely blessed to be a mom of my 3 boys. My fundraising stems from a “something missing in my life” aspect. Growing up I was the only girl out of 3 boys. As I got older, I would crave a mother daughter relationship. I thought my mom was my best friend. As I reached adulthood, my circle of friends would sit me down and ask questions about how I was raised and questions of my relationship with my mom. At these moments I would get confused as to why they were asking me this but they helped me open my eyes to a type of relationship I have with my mom compared to the type of relationship they have with their mom. I learned a lot in those moments realizing that I didn’t have a functional loving relationship with my mom. When I found out I was pregnant with my oldest son, I was so excited to share this blessing and get to show him a type of love that cannot be broken. Needless to say on top of those realizations, I kept hoping he was a girl. Three boys later and I am still having that missing feeling in my heart. Again I am extremely blessed and I love my boys dearly. I am fundraising to get that balance in my family and get my little girl, through ivf and sperm separation cost. It sounds silly but when your heart tells you to try for something, I believe in every option before giving up.
