I met my loving husband 12 years ago. I had been putting my life back together after escaping a domestic violence situation and raising a baby on my own. He was the person I never knew I needed. I felt like he was the final piece I needed in my life. I knew he was the person I was meant to be with and his unconditional love towards my daughter was the icing on the cake, we got married and he officially adopted my daughter after her biological father relinquished his rights. Without a doubt he knew he wanted to legally be her father and give her his last name after he had been raising her since 2 years old. The process took a while and at 4 years old she had a new last name and a daddy who loved her. We've had a few hiccups in this thing called life and as much as we have been wanting to make our daughter a big sister that hasn't happened. We are trying IUI but our doctor is recommending IVF. We are fortunate enough to have partial coverage for it through insurance but 9k is still financially hard on us. As much as we want to grow our family we think of our daughter now and what she still needs as she starts her high school journey and we can't put ouseselves in a financial hardship she will feel. We hope we can achieve our dreams of making our daughter a big sister by those who genoursly would love to help us.
