My dream of becoming a mother

My name is Ridelene, and I’m reaching out with a hopeful heart during one of the most challenging journeys of my life.
In August 2015, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. It was a life-changing moment that led to the removal of my right ovary and fallopian tube, followed by six rounds of chemotherapy. By the grace of God and the strength I found along the way, I made it through that chapter—but the journey hasn’t ended.
Recently, doctors discovered a cyst on my remaining ovary. To protect my health and prevent anything more serious, my doctor has recommended surgery to remove it. However, before I can move forward with that procedure, I need to undergo IVF treatment to preserve my chance of having a child in the future.
This is where I humbly ask for help. The cost of IVF is more than I can manage on my own, and time is something I don’t have the luxury of. Becoming a mother has always been a dream close to my heart, and this step is my opportunity to hold onto that dream before undergoing another surgery.
Any support—whether through a donation or simply sharing my story—would mean more to me than words can express. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for being part of this journey with me.
