Most of y’all know us… we’ve been together for almost 10 YEARS! I know, I can’t believe I’ve been able to put up with him! But truth is, he’s the pb to my jelly, the bacon to my eggs, the ice cream to my sprinkles, the chocolate to my milk, you get the point. We started trying to conceive in 2018 to no avail. Finally in 2021, we decided to pursue fertility treatment options. We started with IUI and conceived on our second try, however we unfortunately lost the babe. After a botched surgery, we tried IUI a few more times but this time, we weren’t successful. We decided to move to IVF and after initial testing, saw that I had scar tissue blocking part of my uterus from the botched d&c. It took 4 months until I was able to have surgery and at that point, I was covered in painful psoriasis patches and suffering terribly from my chronic migraines. We decided that we needed a break. Now we are back on our path and after several unsuccessful IUIs, we need to move to IVF. We have already spent over $10,000 and are looking at $25,000 in costs for IVF. With my chronic migraines, my ability to work has been tough.
