Hello, family, friends and kind-hearted strangers! It's Mitchell and Hannah Kussow. It is with a blend of hope, optimism and vulnerability, that we reach out to you today, as we have journeyed through the ups and downs of starting a family. This is our story. In 2023, we decided we wanted nothing more than to be Mom and Dad to a Little One of our own. After a year of trying, praying and being unsuccessful, we met with an OB/GYN and did many tests and an HSG procedure, all of which determined we are experiencing infertility, as Hannah was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). Once this was diagnosed, we knew having a baby was going to be harder than we thought, but not impossible. Under the care of Hannah's OB/GYN, we did 8 cycles of Provera and Letrozole - all of which were unsuccessful. It was both heartbreaking and discouraging to see a negative test result every month, but we weren't going give up, as when the time is right, the Lord will make it happen. And we know, our Little One will be worth the wait. We were referred out to a Fertility Specialist, and completed even more tests and a sonohysterogram procedure. In January or 2025, it was determined that IVF would be the best option for us to conceive. Although we have great health insurance, it will only go so far, and the financial burden that comes with IVF Treatment is immense. As we come face-to-face with the reality of mounting medical expenses, we realize we cannot do this on our own. We are seeking your support through this Gift of Parenthood.org campaign.
