Operation: Rainbow Baby Schoenbeck

To our family, friends, and those we haven't met yet...we are Paul and Amy and for the last 846 days (and counting...) we have been trying to have a baby. Paul is a disabled Veteran of the U.S. Army and a former law enforcement officer, which has caused his body to age faster than it should. He has been hoping & praying to have a child sooner rather than later so that he can at least carry and play with his child. Amy on the other hand has been diagnosed with unexplained infertility (with Anovulation & possible PCOS). We started fertility medications after a year of trying to get pregnant and have done so for a year. In February 2025...we finally got pregnant. Our first intrauterine ultrasound at 6 weeks...our prayer baby was there.... but....no heartbeat. Our 7-week appointment confirmed...a missed miscarriage. Our hearts are shattered and want nothing more than to have our RAINBOW baby. Paul was premature (spent time in Rainbow babies hospital) and was the rainbow baby for his mother. In collaboration with our amazing fertility MD (Dr. Mooney!), we are perusing IVF treatment & praying to attempt to get our Rainbow baby. Follow along with our faith, family, & IVF process.
