Hi! My name is Meagan. My husband, Kris, and I have been trying to have a baby for several years now. I have immune issues and it seems my immune system is what has caused our six miscarriages. At our age (40 in just a few months!), IVF is our best option for a successful pregnancy. This fundraiser will allow us to go to a fertility clinic that specializes in immune disorders and pregnancy. It's an added bonus that the doctor I would be seeing also specializes in advanced maternal age. Our hope is to retrieve as many eggs as possible now - so they don't keep aging and I don't run out - while we work to get my immune system under control. Hopefully, we will be able to do our initial transfer shortly after our retrieval.
