Hello, my name is Amanda and my husband‘s name is Nick and we have been trying to expand our family since January 2018. We did conceive during our first month of trying in 2018 but it unfortunately ended in an ectopic pregnancy that took my tube with it. We have been trying ever since with no success. In 2021, we finally decided to get some testing done at a fertility clinic where we found out that I have mild endometriosis and that my only remaining tube is completely blocked. Unfortunately, this means that IVF is our only option at this point. My daughter is from a previous relationship and I so desperately want to give my husband the gift of being able to experience bringing a life into this world from start to finish. We found a fertility clinic with an IVF program that we can afford, and have already allocated funds for the treatment itself. This fundraiser would be to help us with the cost of medication and travel expenses since the only fertility clinic we found that we could afford is 1,000 miles away from us. We desperately hope that this is the year that we finally get to complete our family.
