Their story

I am 26 years old, and I was diagnosed with PCOS at 25. For me, PCOS has meant one thing above all else: the dream of becoming a mother has been filled with uncertainty, medical appointments, and heartbreak. I ovulate, but weakly, and every cycle feels like another reminder that my body is fighting harder than it should for something that feels so natural and so deeply wanted. My husband and I both served our country he served for 20 years, and I for 6. We spent our early adulthood dedicated to service, stability, and building a future. Last year, we bought our first home, and we are more than ready to grow our family. My husband has two children from his previous marriage, and I love them with my whole heart. They are part of my life, my joy, and my purpose. But I have always dreamed of carrying a child of my own feeling the kicks, hearing the heartbeat, and experiencing the journey of pregnancy. Infertility has been one of the hardest battles I’ve ever faced. It is exhausting physically, emotionally, and spiritually. There are days when it feels like my body is betraying me, days when hope feels thin, and days when I wonder why something so simple for others has been so difficult for me. But even through the tears, the medications, the waiting, and the disappointment, one thing has never changed: I will never stop trying. Becoming a mother is the deepest desire of my heart. We are ready, we are stable, we are committed, and we are hopeful. Your donations would give us the chance to finally bring another life into our family a child who will be loved, protected, and cherished beyond measure. Thank you for hearing our story.
