​Becoming parents has been the deepest dream of our hearts, but our road to getting there has been filled with unexpected medical hurdles. ​After fighting through fibroid surgery and endometriosis removal, we received news that presented another steep roadblock: my fallopian tubes are currently blocked as a result of those prior procedures and scar tissue. Right now, I am in the process of scheduling an appointment with a fertility specialist to map out our next steps. However, before we can even begin specialized fertility treatments, I will likely need corrective surgery to try to unblock my tubes and clear the path forward. ​While our hearts are completely full of hope and ready for this next chapter, the financial weight of these required surgeries and fertility specialist visits is more than we can carry on our own right now. Medical procedures and specialist care add up so quickly, and the cost has become the single biggest obstacle standing between us and our dream of starting a family. ​This fundraiser was created to help ease that heavy financial burden.
