Our Journey to Baby D.
Hello, we are Dustin and April.
For over 10 years, we have been on a journey that has tested our hearts and our hope - our journey to one day become parents.
About 10 years ago we were taken down a path that no one ever wants to experience. Cancer. Thankfully Dustin has been in remission for almost 9 years now and we Praise God for His healing power. During our process with cancer treatment planning, we learned that it would be unlikely for him to ever be able to have biological children. This has been a challenging heartbreak. Feeling we wanted to exhaust our options, we have consulted with several different Doctors including a male fertility specialist, trying different approaches to find a solution. Unfortunately, these treatments were unsuccessful. Due to this, our choices and time for growing our family are limited. We are looking to pursue embryo adoption to help grow our family, however, the cost of any further process is significant.
We are so grateful for willing hearts and appreciate your prayers and encouragement also!
Thank you for being part of our story - for having hope with us and for believing that this dream is still possible. And we know that all things are possible with Gods help!
