My name is Peyton and I suffer from stage IV Endometriosis. Endo is a common health condition in women where tissue flows outside the uterus causing alot of pain and in cases like mine infertility. On top of that it had caused cysts on my ovaries the size of my fist and very bad scar tissue in both my fallopian tube one which I had to have urgently removed last year because of the severity of the pain, and just a day ago June 9th 2023 I went in for surgery to remove the endometriosis surrounding my organs and with the hopes of being able to remove the cysts off my ovaries just to find out along with the cysts my left ovary and only other fallopian tube had to be removed as well because of excessive bleeding and excessive scar tissue in my tube, so now I'm left with just one ovary and the mental disappointment. The doctor told me I will need a whole hysterectomy but kept them one ovary because he knows how badly I want to be a mother and my only other option to conceive on my own is through ivf. I'm currently 30 years old and becoming a mother is all I've ever wanted and my partner and I have been trying so long not understanding why nothing was ever working until recently. This is our last option and we really need all the help we can get and would greatly appreciate we still have high hopes but it's still mentally depressing and overwhelming on top of bills and everyday life.
