My name is Makayla, and in 2019 I had a wreck where a 16 year old swerved into my lane and hit me head on because he was texting. My airbag didn't deploy, this resulted in fractures to my spine and sternum, dislocated ribs, and damage to my lower abdomen and fallopian tubes. I've done IUI with no luck regardless of being healthy and no other issues. I would have to have an IVF procedure to be able to conceive. I've wanted to be a mother more than anything else, and have been planning this for a long time. To be told I would struggle to conceive due to someone else's negligence absolutely broke my heart and I have struggled emotionally for almost a year trying to make this happen without help.
