Adam and I have been married for 4 years last year we started trying for a baby, after months with no success I saw my doctor. She sent me for an ultrasound which showed a uterine polyp, went to surgery in September had it removed. October 4, 2021 the worst day of our lives, “Krista I’m so sorry but you have cancer”. Rhabdomyosarcoma in my uterus, my only treatment option was to have a hysterectomy luckily my ovaries looked good so they left them, after 4 months of intense chemotherapy I am cancer free. I had another ultrasound to see if I had any eggs left or if chemo killed them all. I am so happy to say I have eggs. Our next step is to do embryo freezing, we will then have to find a gestational carrier so that we can finally have the family we have been wishing for. Insurance does not cover any of these treatments or procedures, and gestational carriers are at least $50,000 so we are asking for your help to make our dreams come true. I know the price of everything is outrageous right now but any little bit will help. Thank you so much for helping us.
