My name is Elizabeth, I was diagnosed with breast cancer just a few short weeks before my 30th birthday (4/16). Since then life has been coming so fast. Last Thursday I had my port placed for chemotherapy & was advised to start working with a fertility doctor if I intended to have children in the further. Since the odds of getting pregnant after therapy will be slim. Since then, with the help of my oncology nurse, we have been able to reach out & get all but 5600$ covered for egg preservation. I am reaching out in a last stitch effort to secure my dream of becoming a mother on my own. I never dreamed that this is what 30 would look like for me. After all we had just bought a house last fall & I was due to start nursing school myself this month. All the things I thought I was so sure of, gone. I don’t want this to be another one the things I have to let go of! I have put my pride aside & im really hoping my prayers will be answered!
