My husband had a bad run with his first wife. She wanted him to get a vasectomy 2 months after their second child. In an attempt to keep her happy and against all his desires, he got the vasectomy. Two months later, his daughter passed away from S.I.D.S. He did eventually get a reversal to allow him to have another child, but it didn't take. The scar tissue built up to the point that all sperm that come out are damaged. I have always wanted to birth a child but I knew his history going into our relationship. We quickly fell in love and are now happily married. We would be honored to be able to have a child but also know in order to do that we are going to have to go through IVF.
