First came love, then came marriage, and now we are asking for your help in raising $20,000 for our blessing in a baby carriage...Yes!! You read right!! $20,000!! I know this sounds like a lot of money because it is, but the money will bless us with the gift of parenthood. We are Brandon and Tenee Terry, and this is our love story. After a few years of dating, most of it being long-distance, we became best friends and fell head over heels in love. On April 5, 2019, we became husband and wife and were ready to live happily ever after. We always talked about how wonderful it would be to raise a family together. Shortly after our marriage, we decided we wanted to begin the next phase of our love story and began trying to conceive. After a year of tracking ovulation, and failed pregnancy tests, we reached out to the doctor and found out that our happily ever after would not come as easy as we had hoped. After countless amounts of tests, we learned were not getting pregnant because of fertility challenges. We were heartbroken, but not defeated, and soon after receiving the news, we began our fertility journey. Since October 2021 we have been working with a fertility specialist and have quietly had 3 Intrauterine Inseminations (IUI) done, and unfortunately, none resulted in pregnancy. Although those treatments are significantly cheaper than IVF, we have had to pay 3,500 per round. All treatments have been paid for out of pocket because our insurance does not cover fertility treatment. After our last failed IUI, our doctor recommended we try IVF, as our chances of conceiving on our own or through IUI are slim to none. Although we have worked hard and saved money to reach our goal a large portion was dedicated to the IUI treatments. This is why we need your generosity to help us reach our $20,000 goal. This experience has been filled with so many emotions, but through it all, we have learned that our faith in God is strong and because of that, we have grown closer together.
