Their story

The Gift of Parenthood grant represents far more than financial assistance to us. It represents possibility—the chance for two people who have worked hard, loved deeply, and refused to give up to create the family they have longed for. Receiving this grant would relieve the overwhelming financial burden of IVF during an already uncertain time. It would replace feelings of helplessness with renewed hope and allow us to focus our energy on what matters most: bringing a child into a home already overflowing with love. Our greatest dream is not based on luxury or perfection. We dream of shared experiences, family traditions, spontaneous adventures, bedtime stories, and quiet conversations around the dinner table. We envision a home where love is expressed through kindness, resilience is taught by example, and every milestone is celebrated with gratitude because we understand how precious each one truly is. If we are fortunate enough to receive this opportunity, we will honor it with profound gratitude. Our future child will grow up knowing that they are the answer to years of hope, perseverance, faith, and unconditional love. They will know that even during our most difficult seasons, we continued believing in them before they were ever placed in our arms. Our story is still unfolding. We sincerely hope that Gift of Parenthood can help us write its most beautiful and meaningful chapter yet—the chapter in which our dream of having a child together finally becomes a reality. How we'll use the funds: The grant would help cover the cost of one IVF treatment cycle using my own eggs. The anticipated services include fertility medications for ovarian stimulation, bloodwork and ultrasound monitoring, anesthesia, egg retrieval, laboratory fertilization, and embryo culture. If recommended by our fertility specialist, the cycle may also include intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), assisted hatching, and preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A). Grant funds may also be used toward embryo biopsy, genetic laboratory fees, cryopreservation and short-term storage of any viable embryos, medications needed to prepare my body for transfer, and the frozen embryo transfer procedure. Additional expenses may include follow-up bloodwork and early ultrasounds after the transfer. The grant would be applied directly toward the eligible procedures, medications, and laboratory services recommended by our fertility specialist. This assistance would help us begin treatment without further delay and give us the opportunity to pursue our dream of having a child together.
