My name is Sarah and I am 38 years old. My husband Tim and I have been marry for 3.5 years and have been together for almost 8 years. We’ve been trying to get pregnant since we got married. I have PCOS and a blocked Fallopian tube, so the odds of a natural pregnancy are small. We tried IUIs and medicated cycles with no luck.
In the past two years, we’ve been doing IVF. We had 7 PGT-A tested “normal” embryos. We did 5 frozen embryo transfers that didn’t end successfully (one biochemical, two miscarriages, two failed transfers). We’ve done every test we knew of to try to find answers. It’s been the hardest years of our lives. We still don’t know why I can’t carry a healthy pregnancy and it’s been devastating.
We plan to pursue surrogacy with the hopes we can still have a biological child. Although we’ve been saving as much as we can, surrogacy is over $100,000. With others help, our dreams of having a family might come true! Even $5 helps! Thank you for reading our story.
