My name is Shauna. My husband and I have always dreamed of growing our family. That dream faced an unexpected challenge when I noticed a painful lump on my side. After months of tests and waiting, I learned it was a large cyst causing severe pain. I held onto hope through six difficult months until I could finally have surgery.
After the procedure, I woke to heartbreaking news. I was diagnosed with stage four endometriosis. After receiving this information and the damage it had done, my doctor informed me that IVF would be our only option for any future pregnancy. In that moment, the future I imagined for us felt shattered, but hopeful we might have another chance, even if it wasn’t in the way we originally planned.
Yet, even in this hardship, we hold onto hope. I feel profoundly grateful that we still have a chance- a chance made possible by modern medicine and with the support of others. Now, we humbly ask for your help to make this chance, a reality. The cost of IVF is overwhelming, and every donation will go directly towards treatment and medications.
If you are able to contribute, no matter the amount, you will be helping to rebuild the dream we have for our family. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness and support.
