My name is Shauna, and over the past decade, I have embraced the profound heartache of infertility. Throughout this journey, I have always seen myself as a caregiver, supporting my niece, a survivor of cancer, and my sister, who received the gift of life after being on life support. While I was resilient in helping my loved ones,  dedicated my life to helping others as a Social Worker and community volunteer, I have been quietly battling my own struggle with infertility. Recently, we experienced the devastating loss of our embryos that did not make it to transferable in our IVF cycle. Despite this heartache, my clinic remains optimistic that with some adjustments, we can try again. To continue my journey toward building a family, I am actively fundraising to help alleviate the financial burdens that may hinder my path to parenthood.
