My name is Shaveda Farmer, and my greatest hope is to become a mother. For years, my fiancé and I have dreamed of growing our family and sharing all our love with a child. Our journey to get here has been marked by profound loss. On my birthday in December 2020, we lost our first pregnancy to an ectopic complication. We held onto hope, but in August 2022, we faced a second ectopic pregnancy. To protect my health, I had to have my tubes removed. The grief of losing those two chances at parenthood has been immense.
