We are incredibly excited about the opportunity to welcome children into our home and begin our family. We chose to pursue embryo adoption when we learned that there are so many embryos waiting for the opportunity to develop and become children. We would love to give them that chance by welcoming them into our family. When we learned that we would most likely never be able to have children biologically of our own, that was very difficult for us. But at the end of the day, what matters most to us is providing a loving home and family to children. We always knew that no matter how they came into our lives, having children would be miraculous and a blessing. The path we are taking to parenthood may not be the most conventional one, but that makes it no less miraculous an opportunity in our eyes. In many ways, it makes the opportunity even more meaningful. Thank you for considering us for this gift. This grant would give us the means to begin building our family and pursuing the dream of becoming parents. We plan to adopt three to five embryos and are committed to giving each one the opportunity to become part of our family. With a little help and a little luck, we hope this journey will allow us to welcome more than one child into our home. How we'll use the funds: This would help us cover the required home study at $1,500 and the adoption fees from the Snowflakes agency at $8,500. While we only have estimates of the expenses involved in the medical portion, we believe that, between our insurance and savings we believe we will be able to cover those expenses. What we really need help with is the home study and the adoption fees.
