Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters: We are reaching out with hope and excitement in our hearts. We have been presented with an incredible opportunity to grow our family - we were chosen to adopt a child from a birth mother in Tennessee. This generous gift has opened a door for us to begin our journey of parenthood—a journey we have longed for, for many years. We have been together for 14 years, married for almost 4 years. With every year, we grow more and more in love with each other, as well as falling in love with the idea of raising a child together. It would be our greatest joy. However, this particular path to parenthood involves significant financial and logistical challenges. The primary expense we are facing is related to renewing our Home Study for a third year in a row, supporting our birth mother’s living expenses, and financing legal fees. The funds we raise through this campaign will directly support our birth mother's Living Expense Fund (which is established through our wonderful lawyer--which covers 5 Expense Categories: Housing, Electric/Gas, Car/Transportation, Phone, Food/Grocery, and Clothes), as well as our legal fees, including any possible court fees that might occur in the future. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to holding our long-awaited child in our arms.
