We are trying to raise funds for embryo adoption. My husband has cystic fibrosis and when we first got together, having a child was not really possible. His CF was very unstable, he was in and out of the hospital combating infections, and racking up medical costs like I had never seen. But in 2016, the Right To Try Act was passed and my husband was able to be on a brand new drug. This drug has stabilized his CF and the longer he is on it, the more stabilizing it becomes. This drug opened the door to the possibility of growing our family. Since we are older, we opted to do the tests to see if we had any valid eggs or sperm to contribute to this process and sadly we do not. The concept of embryo adoption was new to us, but the more we read about it, the more it sounded like a very real possibility for us to grow our family. The funds would help cover the costs of the embryo transfer and medical appointments during the pregnancy. The medical appointments so far have decimated our savings, endangering the actual embryo transfer process. The costs have become so much that we are humbly asking for support. Big or little, we are grateful for your generosity and wanting to support our journey. Both of us thank you very much.
