Hello everyone! Our names are Tanawat and Alberto, and we are excited - and a little nervous - to share a very special dream with you: we are ready to become dads and start our family. Our love story began in an unexpected way. Tanawat was born and raised in Thailand, and Alberto was born and raised in Mexico. In 2018, when Tanawat first started flying with American Airlines, he was scheduled to work a trip to Cancun. At the last minute, he was reassigned to a trip to Guadalajara. At the time, he knew very little about Guadalajara or Mexico. Little did he know that this unexpected change would completely change his life. On the day Tanawat was returning to the United States, he met Alberto at the boarding gate. They talked for a little while, and although it was a simple meeting, something about that moment stayed with both of them. After that day, we began a long-distance relationship. For the next several years, we built our relationship across countries and borders, supporting each other through the challenges of distance and life. During the COVID pandemic, we got married and continued building our life together. Today, our home is filled with love - and animals! We have a cat, a dog, and backyard chickens. We love traveling, cooking together, exploring new places, and experiencing different cultures. Our multicultural backgrounds are an important part of who we are, and we hope to pass that same appreciation for love, family, and different cultures on to our future child. Now, we feel that our family is ready to grow. We are beginning our surrogacy journey with the dream of welcoming one child of our own. Becoming parents is something we have dreamed about for a long time, and we are incredibly excited about the possibility of raising a child together in a loving, supportive, and happy home. The surrogacy process is a beautiful journey, but it is also an expensive one. Between medical expenses, fertility treatment, embryo creation, legal fees, agency and surrogate expenses, and other costs along the way, the financial commitment is much more than we can manage on our own. That is why we are reaching out to our family, friends, and community for support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to becoming dads. If you are unable to donate, sharing our story with others would mean just as much to us. We know that building a family can take many different paths. Our path may be different, but our hopes are the same: to give our future child a life filled with love, laughter, family, travel, culture, animals, and endless support.
