Hi, my name is Marissa and my husbands name in John; we have been together seven years and married for two. We are fur parents to two Aussie's, but have been trying for the last 19 months to become human parents. Unfortunately, at 25 I was diagnosed with Diminished Ovarian Reserve (DOR) accompanied by an ovarian insufficiency and a luteal phase defect; on top of that, I was classified as a "poor responder" to stimulating medications. Both my OBGYN and RE explained that with DOR, my egg reserve is extremely depleted, and that paired with the other issues I have we would need to partake in assistive reproductive measures in order to conceive. However, we were only a 15% chance with IUI and a mere 35% with IVF. Due to my reproductive dysfunction, we would need to undergo multiple egg retrievals just to get enough eggs to try and fertilize. However, the quote we received for one IVF cycle was far more than we are expecting. We would love to build our family and help create future leaders of the world, but going into debt just does not seem like the right way to do it. We would love your help in growing our family and doing it in such a way that will allow us to continue to live our lives and not be constrained by debt. We want to be able to have our own little family, and still provide for them in all of their wants and needs.
