The Placide IVF Journey

My name is Kari, and after dreaming of becoming a mother for over a decade, my husband and I finally felt ready to start our family. We never imagined the journey would be so long or so painful—both physically and emotionally.
After years of trying, I experienced an ectopic pregnancy. What should have been a moment of joy turned into an emergency hospital visit. There, I was diagnosed with endometriosis, a condition that had been silently stealing our chances all along. During surgery, my right fallopian tube was removed. My left tube remains, but it is so damaged by scar tissue that my eggs cannot travel through it naturally. The diagnosis explained so much, but it also meant our path to parenthood would need help.
The emotional toll has been heavy, and the financial burden is overwhelming. IVF is our best hope, but it comes with a steep price tag that we cannot cover on our own. Every dollar brings us closer to the family we have prayed for.
Despite the challenges, my husband and I are filled with hope. We are ready to fight for our dream, and we are asking for your support. Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward IVF treatments and medications. It will help us turn our hope into a reality.
We are so grateful for any help you can offer. Thank you for being part of our journey and for believing in our dream of becoming parents.
