My husband raised his first wife’s baby from the time she was a year old on. The man who he was told was her father was supposedly abusive. When the little girl was 12 they found out the abusive guy wasn’t her dad it was his cousin. So his wife gave her the biological fathers last name even though my husband was the one taking care of her all those years. My husband was heart broken. Then we met and fell in love, got married and would give anything to have a baby. My husband still provides for his step daughter she is now living with her biological father and we continue to financially support her still and she is loved very much. My husband said no kid will ever replace his stepdaughter but he would love to have a baby he didn’t have to get taken away from him. I would give anything to make this happen but unfortunately I had to have a partial hysterectomy several years ago. Luckily I still have eggs but I am unable to carry. We are needing help covering surrogate cost.
