Their story

Hello we are the Thetford’s, I am Sarah and my husband is Carl. We have been together for 4 years and married for 3. I have suffered with PCOS for almost 20 years. My husband and I started trying to conceive in April 2019 while taking fertility medication (letrozole). We conceived our son Colton on the very first cycle. We were over the moon excited. Unfortunately  that can crashing down at 18 weeks when we lost him due to me having an incompetent cervix. We started trying again a couple months later after loosing him on the same method, just fertility meds (letrozole). It took us roughly 6 months, but we then conceived our daughter Hailey. Yet again we were over the moon excited, but so scared and nervous. We had our cerclage placed at 12 weeks, but then we found out she had a megacystis bladder, which caused her heart to stop at 14 weeks. It was a rough healing period for my body as her delivery was extremely painful. We decided to take a break and focus on us and to buy a house, which we now live in. We started trying again in the same method of just letrozole, we tried for almost a year with no success. We started seeing a specialist in April 2022, all test came back normal for bit myself and my husband. So we proceeded with doing an iui. Here it is September and we have just had our third failed iui. We have had our first IVF retrieval and failed 3 day transfer. We will be moving on too round two in hopes we can bring our rainbow baby home. We want more than anything to bring a baby home. We have had a fully set up nursery for almost two years in our home, hoping and praying it will happen. Anything will help make our dreams become a reality. Thank you!

Failed Transfer

Today we found out our sweet one surviving embryo did not stick. We are getting ready to start the process all over again. We are absolutely heartbroken by this, but it will not break us.
