Their story

My Name is Lauren and I discovered last year, at 38 years old, that I was perimenopausal. Somehow my egg count completely diminished at the age of 39 which I could have never predicted. I joined the Army when I was 22 years old, and have dedicated my entire life to public service. My continuous call to service required me to move around the world so often that I did not have the full opportunity to find a lifelong partner. I spent time in South Korea, El Paso Tx, and Schofield Barracks Hawaii. I deployed to Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom from 2011-2012. I have an Associates degree in Liberal Arts, a Bachelor degree in Business Management, and will complete my Master's degree in Public Administration this May. My Dr.'s could not find an answer as to why I reached menopause so early in my life but we know that I still have hope in the form of receiving a donor embryo. I learned that my insurance with the Department of Veterans Affairs does not cover the cost of a donor embryo and that I will need to pay everything on my own. My greatest chance for success will involve SHARED RISK 100% REFUND PROGRAM for DONOR EMBRYO which will provide me with Up to six donor embryo frozen transfers. I will be matched with one (1) embryo per attempt. This type of treatment will cost me $18,000. I am extremely grateful that I am still healthy and able to carry a child naturally. I look forward to the future of building a tiny family of my own. Your generosity is so appreciated and even just a little bit will go a long way.
