Hello everyone, my name is Iya and here is my story on why I need your support to go through Oocyte Cryopreservation (Egg Freezing). First and foremost, I am blessed to be a mother to my beautiful daughter which I had at a younger age with my previous partner. I realized that I want the opportunity to have more children but as a woman of color who is in her early forties it is getting less attainable. What I love about motherhood is the milestones that children hit and seeing the excitement on their face. Every milestone becomes a core memory, and it is cherished forever. Furthermore, balancing a full-time job and being a single mother has its own challenges, but I am willing to face them for my children. IVF treatment is costly even with health insurance so that is another challenge that I have to face. I am humbly asking you to find it in your heart to donate to my fundraiser. With your donation it will help with the cost of Egg Freezing (i.e. medication, egg retrieval, and Ovarian Stimulator and storage). To have the opportunity to be able to do this is a blessing. Every penny counts and I pray that I will be able to reach my goal and have the opportunity to experience motherhood again.
