To create a family

Hello, we are Lia and Brittney, a proud Deaf lesbian couple ready to begin the most meaningful chapter of our lives… starting a family together. As members of the Deaf and LGBTQ+ community, our journey to parenthood looks different. We cannot conceive naturally without medical assistance and a sperm donor, and the costs of fertility treatments are a barrier we cannot overcome alone. That’s why we are reaching out to our community for support. We are fundraising to build the family we’ve always dreamed of a safe, loving home where a child (or twins!) will grow up surrounded by unconditional love, embraced by the richness of Deaf culture, and taught the value of diversity, resilience, and compassion. This campaign is important to us because it represents more than just having a baby… it’s about creating a future where our child will know they were brought into this world through love, determination, and the strength of community. Your support will directly help us cover the expenses of sperm donation and fertility treatment. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to the day we can hold our child(ren) in our arms.
