Hi my name is Ashley. I had my tubes tied after having my daughter in January 2018. I asked my doctor if this would cause any issues and what were the risks. She advised me there were none. Once I got my tubes tied my periods became so heavy and painful that I had to start taking birth control and pain medication when I have my menstrual cycle. There have been many test done and there is no other underlying conditions. I do not want to take birth control and pain medication if I can have a tubal reversal but my insurance will not cover it as it is considered an elective surgery. Anything would help.
