Their story

January 14th, 2017 was the best day ever. It was the day we said I do to a lifetime together filled with love, joy, and family. In 2018 Dalton and I were ready to grow our family but were naïve to think it would be an easy journey. For a year we tried on our own, but the busyness of life prevented us from acknowledging or thinking that we would need medical intervention. After eight failed medicated cycles and countless days of tears, our journey to baby Lowe has led us to IVF. As with so many in the infertility community, we never imagined this would be what our journey to parenthood would look like. Unfortunately, IVF is very cost prohibitive, particularly for many couples struggling to start a family. The financial strain that comes with IVF has created additional stress to a situation that was already seemingly unbearable. This stress has affected both of us mentally, physically, and emotionally. Conversations about family have become more difficult. Our hearts have ached and tears have poured for hours on end. At times, we have felt entirely defeated with no options left and no chance for us to ever build a family. Nevertheless, we are not ready to give up on our dream of one day bringing home our child. We have such a strong passion and desire to not only bring life into this world, but to provide the best for that life that we possibly can. We have overcome so much to come this far and we are so close to making this dream of a family come true. It is our hope that you can help us overcome this final hurdle. You would truly be gifting us with the gift of life, family and happiness. For that, we would be eternally grateful. Update - thanks to so many of you, we have completed two rounds of IVF and have three precious embryos on ice. After our hysteroscopy in March showed a slight abnormality, our FET plans were put on hold. If our second hysteroscopy in May comes back clear, we will be able to move forward with a FET sometime in June. We are so ready for this next step in our journey to parenthood and are looking forward to bringing our babies home in our arms. As a way to honor those who help make our dream of a family come true, we will be creating a keepsake with all donor's names. Those names will be written onto a heart shaped piece and placed in a shadow box. Our hope is to one day be able to share this keepsake with baby Lowe and show them just how dearly loved and prayed for they were.
