Hi! We are James and Anna and I suffer from secondary infertility. We were blessed with our little girl in 2017. Once she turned 4, we started our journey to have another child. We tried for a couple of years on our own, before turning to my doctor for help. We started medicated cycles for 2 years. Year 3, we added another medication to hopefully help. It didn’t, so we decided to try IUI which is a less invasive fertility treatment. After 3 failed IUI’s, our doctor referred us to a fertility clinic in Memphis. When we met with our doctor there, we learned that because of my advanced age and my husband’s genetic disorder, we would not be a good candidate for IVF, but he talked to us about embryo adoption. We went home and prayed about this decision. Adoption has always been in our hearts, but I also have the longing to carry another baby. This option will let us do both. We can not wait to see all the blessings God has in store for us on this journey. We were hesitant to meet with the fertility clinic because of the cost of everything, but we know God will always make a way if it’s part of his plan.
