Gift of Parenthood Fees Explained

We believe you should always know exactly where every dollar goes — so here it is, plainly.

When someone donates to your fundraiser

Two fees apply:

A 3% platform fee. This is what keeps Gift of Parenthood running: secure payment infrastructure, fraud protection, the sharing and invite tools you use to reach your community, campaign review that keeps the platform safe, and a real support team when you need help. We're a mission-driven organization — this fee covers the real costs of operating the platform.

Payment processing of 2.9% + $0.30. This covers card processing on every transaction, the same as nearly every online donation platform.

What that looks like

On a $100 donation, $3.00 covers the platform fee and $3.20 covers card processing — $93.80 goes to your fundraiser. You can run any amount through the calculator on our pricing page.

What's always free

Creating a fundraiser, sharing it, inviting your contacts, posting updates, and withdrawing your funds. No subscriptions, no tiers, no hidden charges.

About tips

At checkout, donors can choose to add an optional tip for Gift of Parenthood. Tips help sustain our mission and never come out of donations to your fundraiser.

Why we don't advertise "0% fees"

Some platforms do, and lean entirely on optional donor tips to survive. We'd rather be straightforward with you: running a safe, trustworthy fundraising platform costs real money, and a small, clearly stated fee is the most honest way to cover it — so you always know exactly what reaches your family.
