Do I have to submit a photo or go public about my infertility struggle if I receive the grant?

No. If you receive a grant, you are never required to submit a photo, appear in our marketing, or speak publicly about your fertility journey. Your story is deeply personal, and whether you share it is always your choice. We will honor that choice, full stop.

Why some recipients choose to share

Infertility can feel isolating, and hearing from someone who has walked the same road can mean everything to a family at the start of theirs. Many past recipients have chosen to share their stories and photos on our Recipients page, and every one of them helps chip away at the stigma around infertility.

That said, sharing is an invitation, never a condition. Recipients who prefer privacy receive their grant the same way as everyone else.

What the application actually involves

Grant applications are submitted through the grant portal and reviewed privately by our grant committee. Recipients are selected through our application review based on financial need and treatment plan documentation, and the personal information in your application is used for administering the program, as described in our official rules and Privacy Policy. Nothing in the rules requires you to go public.
