How to set up payouts and withdraw funds

Moving the money you raise into your bank account happens in one place: your Withdrawals page. This guide walks through connecting your bank, requesting a withdrawal, and tracking your payout.

Before you start

• The person withdrawing needs a bank account in a supported country and must meet the requirements to withdraw funds.
• Bank connections are handled by Stripe, our payments partner. Stripe may ask for a photo ID or other documents to confirm the money is going to the right person. Gift of Parenthood never sees your bank login, balance, or transactions, and we do not store your documents.
• Plan ahead. Every request gets a review by our team, and approved payouts are processed within 3 to 5 business days. If you need funds by a certain date, request your withdrawal about a week early.

Step 1: Connect your bank account

Go to Withdrawals in your dashboard and find the Bank Account card at the top of the page. Click Connect and follow Stripe's secure setup steps.

Prefer to share less? On Stripe's screen, choose "Enter bank details manually" and provide only your routing and account numbers. The instant bank login option is the one that asks to share your balance and transaction history with Stripe. There is a full walkthrough in Connecting your bank account for payouts.

Step 2: Request a withdrawal

Once your bank connection shows as Active, the same page displays your total available for withdrawal. That balance is what your donations have brought in after fees, minus anything you have already withdrawn or requested. You can see the full fee breakdown on our pricing page.

• Click Request Withdrawal.
• Pick the fundraiser you want to draw from.
• Enter the amount. There is a small minimum per request (currently $10; the form always shows the current minimum).
• Submit. Each fundraiser can have one request in review at a time.

Step 3: Track your payout

Your request appears in the Withdrawal History table on the same page. It moves from pending to approved once our team reviews it, and you will get an email when it is approved. The money reaches your bank account within 3 to 5 business days after approval, and the status changes to completed.

Raised money before our platform upgrade?

If some of your donations came in on our previous platform, they will not appear in the balance above, but they are not lost. You will see a separate notice on the Withdrawals page with a Request legacy payout button. Our team confirms the exact amount and processes it for you.
